On the first Friday of most months, Buddy's Big Band plays swing music from the 30's and 40s from 8pm - midnight.
JUMP: With weight on both feet, spring in the air and land with weight on both feet.
The band is the brain child of Herman "Buddy" Cox, a longtime trumpet player and American Airlines pilot from Hurst. It's been up and running and performing to rave reviews for over six years. Dancers from our Swing Dance lessons show up in force and put on a great show to the band's wonderful music.

The band is always on the lookout for more players, since with this many folks, scheduling can betough. Know how to flat a 13th, scare up ghost notes, and place an up beat way later than Bach ever intended?
