For over three decades, Eric Demmer has been a powerhouse in the world of high-energy blues, funk, and classic rock-n-roll. A master of the saxophone and a compelling vocalist, Demmer’s sound is defined by a simple but profound philosophy: “The real thing comes from the heart and soul”.
Demmer’s career is marked by his 12-year tenure with the legendary guitarist Clarence Gatemouth Brown, a journey that saw him touring the globe and opening for Eric Clapton on the iconic From The Cradle tour. His “shredding” alto style—often compared to the intensity of a lead guitar—has earned him guest spots on stage with icons like B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, and the Allman Brothers.
Transitioning from a premier sideman to a solo force. Demmer released his debut album, So Fine, in 2022. The record debuted at #5 on the Billboard Blues Charts and earned him nominations for Best New Artist Album and Horn Player of the Year by Blues Blast Magazine. Whether he is leading his own band or collaborating with other artists, Demmer remains a tireless ambassador for authentic soulful American Music.
