The Deep End - Unblocking Creativity

Doors 6:30, Event 7:00

There’s a voice inside that stops us before we even begin — the one that says, “You’re not good enough,” “You don’t have anything new to say,” “Who do you think you are?” That voice can be loud or subtle, but either way, it builds walls between us and our natural creative impulse.

This session is about noticing those blocks — the inner critic, the fear of looking foolish, the pressure to get it “right” — and learning how to move through them. Not by pushing harder, but by listening more closely. By loosening the grip of judgment and reconnecting to the part of us that creates simply because it wants to.

We’ll explore what it feels like to express without having it all figured out — to take one step, make one mark, and let that lead to the next. Like a mandala that grows outward from a single point, each choice informs the next. That’s how creativity works. That’s how life works, too.

This isn’t just about making something for the sake of it. It’s about seeing how the act of creating — even in a small, imperfect way — can actually shift something. When we get out of our heads and into action, clarity follows. Not the other way around.

You’ll be invited to notice what stops you, what stories you’ve been told about creativity, and what it feels like — in your body — to begin anyway. And most importantly, how that moment of beginning can ripple into the parts of your life where you've been stalled.

Whether you consider yourself a “creative person” or not, this space is for anyone who’s felt stuck, shut down, or silenced — and is ready to move differently.
