Elizabeth Wills is a Texas based award-winning singer-songwriter and Americana recording artist who has a voice that Dallas Morning News compared to “female singer/songwriter greats such as Carly Simon, Shawn Colvin, and Sarah McLachlan.” Her songs – real and riveting – "keep listeners engaged from start to finish."
She’s played notable festivals and venues across the country like Austin City Limits Festival, South by Southwest, Kerrville Folk Festival, The Troubadour in LA, The Backyard in Austin, Bass Hall in Fort Worth, multiple venues in NYC, and many more.
Her nearly four decade long tenure in the music business has had her living in places from New York City to LA, but she returned to Texas where her love for music and songwriting began. She’s played with folks like Wille Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Janis Ian, Shawn Mullins, JD Souther, Noel Paul Stookey, Iris Dement, Aimee Mann, and more…. But she’s always grateful to be back in Texas, especially Fort Worth, which she calls “home”.
Her band is made up of some of the best of the best humans and musicians in Texas. Sam Swank on guitar, Alex Hahn on drums, and Mike Daane, band director and bass. Her latest album, Marigolds From Ashes, has all of these guys playing on it, and Mike Daane also produced it.
